The following links are to websites that I visit regularly, whether it's to buy tickets, check out other fan reviews, or just get up to date information on current happenings in Major or Minor League Baseball. You can click on a link below to take you directly to that section. | BALLPARK SITES | BUYING TICKETS | BASEBALL INFORMATION | LEAGUE SITES | TEAM WEBSITES | Mike McCann's website - Another McCann (no relation) who is also on a quest to visit every Major and Minor League ballpark. He has been to well over 200 games and has also documented his games. Nice website by a fellow baseball fan. ballparkreviews.com - Brian Merzbach's very excellent and well covered ballpark reviews. He's not afraid to give his honest opinion on any ballpark, even if it's negative (which I like). He has pictures and has been to over 400 ballparks and is very informative. He also has a grading system to show where each ballpark ranks on his list. This is one of my absolute favorite sites that I visit regularly. digitalballparks.com - A very large photo gallery of past and present Major and Minor league ballparks, as well as non-affiliated professional leagues and even leagues that no longer exist. Very informative website with wonderful photos. Props to Eric and Wendy Pastore for their work on this website. ballparks.com - A very nice website that features past, present, and future MLB ballparks. Very factual with lots of information that is hard to find on the web. This website even has information on how much the ballpark cost to build, who the architects were, and memorable and historical moments such as all-star and world series games.
Baseball-Reference.Com - My main source for individual player statistics. This site tracks all Major and Minor League statistics, standings, records, and anything you can possibly think of concerning statistics. You can look up any player that has ever played a single game in the Majors, and same with the minors dating back over 16 years. Also has box scores to any game you need. Baseball-Almanac.Com - Similiar to baseball-reference, except this one gears a lot of focus on amazing performances, such as no-hitters, 6 hit games, 4 HR games, and so on. You can spend hours just reading the "fabulous feats" and seeing who has done what in the game of baseball. Very full of information about Major League Baseball. HitTrackerOnline - Tracks all home run distances since 2006. Shows graphs and charts of each stadium and every individual home run hit in the major leagues. Very interesting and accurate information, unlike HR distances from the past. National Baseball Hall of Fame & Museum - This is the link to the Hall of Fame website with information on upcoming voting, inductees, and information about the museum itself in Cooperstown, NY.
